Came across an exciting new pastime today, don’t know why I hadn’t seen it before.

Happy Corner, also known as Aluba (”hitting the tree” in Taiwan), or Pole-racking in Great Britain, is a practice in which a person’s groin is ‘cornered’ rudely against a pole-shaped solid object.

Happy Corner is also a growing phenomenon in residence halls, and has become increasingly accepted to mark a male resident’s birthday. Happy Corner is then performed along with a song parodying Happy Birthday to You, with the lyrics changed to “Happy Corner to You”.

It was our last ever physics lesson at Hills Road today… So what else is there to do but play with liquid nitrogen.

This has to be one of the best ideas ever, send a mass email around the school advertising free ice cream from the van over only a one hour period.

On Monday, one mother duck and her many ducklings waddled through Hills Road. As most of the college were following them, I thought I’d join in and take a video. As you may see, halfway through the video, one rogue duckling tries to attack Matt, so Ross picks it up and puts it back with its group… Aaahhhh.
