Feeling compelled to see Toy Story 3, for a trip down memory lane more than anything. I was reminded just how much cinema’s manage to screw you for cash at every turn. There’s nothing new with cinemas charging high prices for snacks, but when I can get a ticket for £3.80 and popcorn for £2 at a different cinema, Cineworld seems a rip off!

A problem that keeps rearing its head lately is that every once in a while, apache stops serving. error.log shows nothing around that time, and other logs are apache free. Its getting annoying having to SSH in and manually restart, having already lost a good hour before I’d noticed the email from the monitoring people.

At my age, any mention of “grow your own” congers up images of allotments and the fragrance of old people. I’ve convinced myself that a herb garden is still hip and cool, compared to growing swedes and potatoes. Exciting or what! Trying to grow herbs indoors out of season proves difficult.
