Age Restriction for Toys Raised to 14

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008 at 1:00 am

Yes, you heard it here first. After visiting Hunstanton for a day during the Easter Holidays, as you do, I won a model motorbike from one of the 2p slot machines. After looking at the bottom of the stand I noticed that it said that this toy is not suitable for children under 14 years old.

This surely can’t have been a misprint, as its in every language. Their Health & Safety person must be completely mad (or doing some severe covering of ones back.) This is the model motorbike in the spotlight.

If you look closely at the picture below (click it for a larger version), you will clearly be able to see the “14 years” part.

Be careful all you 14 year olds out there, you might accidentally swallow this motorbike!
