I felt tempted to write this in response to people who enjoy saying completely outrageous things, then get all pissy when someone disagrees and goes “STFU RESPECT MA OPINIONS”. Naturally this ticks me off. Therefore, since people have no bloody idea how to properly define and debate their opinions, here is a handy excerpt from the user’s manual that I found under my bed.
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Opiniontm! This is a short FAQ about the Opiniontm.
Your new Opiniontm is unique. It is tuned to you and you only. Everyone with an Opiniontm has the option of keeping to themselves or sharing it with everyone, and we encourage you to share yours!
WARNING: Known hazards from having an Opiniontm:
- People who have a conflicting Opiniontm to yours may become agressive and may endanger your health. Caution advised.
- Your Opiniontm may or may not change automatically upon the installation of either Rebuttal v6, Facts v3 or Evidence v2.4. This is completely normal. If you choose, you may keep yourOpinion tm intact by selecting the “Disregard” option.
- In some countries, the Opiniontm is banned, along with the Freedom series. This includes:
- Speech
- Religion
- Press
- Information
- If you want to change your Opiniontm, see your local retailer and we will give you a new one in exchange for the old one.
- Your Opinion may be subject to terms and conditions upon it’s use or display in any hierarchical establishment. Causion advised when displaying it as those who do not agree may impose penalties.
