Just now, I’ve been in one of those extremely awkward situations that I needed to get out of quickly. This time, yet again it was me getting caught on my Google search history. This time, however, it was slightly more embarrassing. I was “caught” by Chris and unfortunately he couldn’t have seen a worse search term. OK, here’s what happened. Josh and I were discussing the idea of adding a “homosexual chat up line” page to this blog, just for a laugh and to try and find the best ones. What I was doing was using Google to start us off, and tried to find some that we could modify and make rather obscene. Then, halfway through, I heard a knock at the door and it was Chris wanting me to search something for him on Google. Quickly, I closed the web page tabs. I agreed to search for him, and placed the cursor in my Google toolbar’s search box ready to type. However, what I had forgotten was that that shows the last searched terms! Shit! This is what appeared:
As you can probably imagine, I had to try and explain myself very quickly… So anyway, the moral of this story is: always delete your Google search history before showing it to someone.
