We had the upsetting view of the entire tragedy today whilst visiting Whitby. The BBC Story: “Teenage boy dies and two girls injured in sea at Whitby” for more information. The whole event has shocked all of us. I’d like to send my sincere condolences to his friends and family.

Reviving an Old PC with Ubuntu 10.04

Growing Herbs using LEDs

At my age, any mention of “grow your own” congers up images of allotments and the fragrance of old people. I’ve convinced myself that a herb garden is still hip and cool, compared to growing swedes and potatoes. Exciting or what! Trying to grow herbs indoors out of season proves difficult.
